Scope and operating boundary

Published September 1, 2026. A policy acknowledgment tracker records which approved version was delivered, to whom, when, and what response followed. It does not establish legality, understanding, agreement, or enforceability.

Capture policy identifier, version, effective date, owner, approved audience, delivery method, acknowledgment requirement, due date, and accessibility route.

Workflow and evidence controls

Build the population from an authorized source and preserve the cutoff. Transfers, hires, leave, departures, and role changes need explicit treatment from the policy or HR owner.

Keep delivery, access, acknowledgment, question, exception, and completion as separate states. A bounced email is not delivery; opening a link is not acknowledgment.

Quality review and exceptions

Report the expected population, version, cutoff, failed deliveries, approved exceptions, and unknowns. Archive old cycles and keep sensitive employee questions outside the general tracker.
