Philippines HR Employee Document Version Log
Keep employee-facing document versions traceable so an old draft is not mistaken for the approved record.
A document-version log records the document class, worker reference where needed, version identifier, owner, approval source, delivery state, and superseded date. A filename alone cannot prove which version was approved or sent.
A documentation coordinator can compare stored files, flag duplicate or ambiguous versions, and prepare a version map. The document owner decides wording, approval, release, retention, and what a correction requires.
Do not replace a delivered file in place when history matters. Keep the approved version, delivery evidence, and later correction connected through dated events and restricted source references.
