Philippines HR Leave Calendar Exception Review

Use an exception review to catch leave-calendar conflicts without treating a calendar entry as approval.

A leave exception list can show the worker reference, requested period, roster impact, approval state, conflicting entry, and review owner. A calendar event may reflect a plan, but it does not prove that leave was approved or recorded in the authoritative system.

A Philippines-based administrator can compare the request, approved record, and schedule, then prepare a conflict for review. The manager or HR owner decides approval, coverage, policy treatment, and the final calendar entry.

Keep the request, decision, and implemented schedule as separate events. That record makes it possible to explain whether an exception was resolved, declined, or still waiting for an owner.

Start by comparing the requested dates with the approved source and the work schedule for the same period. If the request says half-day but the calendar blocks a full day, record the mismatch as a question; do not silently normalize it.

A useful review ends with one of three outcomes: the authoritative record is confirmed, an owner must decide, or the calendar needs a documented correction. Preserve the original request and the decision date so later coverage planning is based on the actual history.
