Philippines HR Offboarding Knowledge Transfer
Capture practical handoff knowledge when a Philippines-based role ends without expanding access or assigning decisions by accident.
A knowledge-transfer list should name the workstream, open item, source location, next due point, receiving owner, access dependency, and handoff state. A long document is not useful if no one can tell which items remain active.
An offboarding administrator can collect links, summarize current status, and schedule a review with the receiving owner. The manager decides priority, acceptance, access changes, and whether a task belongs in another role.
Keep private credentials out of handoff notes and use approved access requests instead. Ask the receiving owner to confirm each critical item, then record unresolved gaps separately from completed transfer.
Sort the handoff by work that can expire, work that is waiting on a person, and work that depends on restricted access. That grouping gives the receiving owner a practical first review and avoids pretending that a complete document means every task transferred.
For each critical item, capture the last confirmed event, next due point, source link, and open decision. A receiving owner can accept the status or return a question; the administrator should not declare the work accepted on the owner’s behalf.
