Philippines HR Onboarding Equipment Readiness

Track equipment readiness for a new Philippines-based employee without confusing a request, shipment, and working handoff.

An equipment-readiness record lists the worker reference, approved equipment, assigned owner, expected handoff, setup state, evidence, and open issue. A purchase request or tracking number does not prove that the employee has a usable device.

An onboarding administrator can reconcile the request, delivery evidence, and setup confirmation, then flag a dependency. The employer or operations owner decides equipment choice, replacement, security response, and any exception.

Keep asset details restricted and use a stable reference in the onboarding board. Do not mark day-one readiness complete until the named owner confirms the actual handoff and the remaining work is visible.

Review the handoff in two parts: physical custody and working access. A delivered device may still lack the approved account, security setup, or required application, while an account marked ready may not have been tested by the new employee.

When an item is late, identify the dependency and owner rather than promising a revised start condition. The onboarding record should distinguish ordered, delivered, configured, acknowledged, and accepted so a manager can make a deliberate exception decision.
