Philippines New-Hire Account Provisioning Sequence

Sequence account requests, approvals, tests, and first-day handoffs without granting premature access.

Published September 1, 2026. Account provisioning should follow the work a new Philippines-based employee is approved to perform. A start date alone does not justify every possible permission. Connect each first-week task to a named system, entitlement, owner, and review date.

Build an access matrix before submitting tickets. Record business purpose, required role, data sensitivity, approving owner, provisioning owner, and verification evidence. Mark access that is not required for initial work as deferred rather than requesting it for convenience.

Establish the named identity and multifactor authentication first, then approved communication tools, source systems, and task-specific applications. Never send passwords through chat or reuse another worker’s account.

Test with a safe sample. Confirm the employee can see the required record, perform only the permitted action, save it correctly, and reach the escalation route. A successful login does not prove that permissions are correct.

Use requested, approved, provisioned, employee tested, owner verified, deferred, and blocked as distinct states. Review after the first week and when duties change; remove unused access and document every justified addition.
