Philippines Offboarding Final Work Handoff
Transfer open work, records, access dependencies, and ownership without exposing private departure details.
Published September 2, 2026. A final-work handoff protects service continuity when a Philippines-based employee leaves or changes roles. It should describe operational state without placing confidential departure reasons in shared queues.
Inventory active items, recurring duties, deadlines, source locations, current status, blockers, and the person accepting each lane. Avoid copying customer or employee data into the handoff when a controlled link is sufficient.
Identify personal reminders, local files, named automations, shared credentials that should not exist, and vendor contacts tied to the worker. Route each dependency to its system or process owner before access removal.
The receiving owner confirms that records are usable and that urgent work has coverage. Transfer is not complete merely because a document was sent or a meeting occurred.
Keep employment decisions, final pay, device recovery, and access revocation with their authorized owners. Close the operational handoff with acceptance evidence and a visible list of unresolved exceptions.
